Open Gym This Saturday at RGC!!!

Renmore Gymnastics are running an ‘Open Gym’ session this Saturday.  A great chance to come and find out what gymnastics is all about!

When: Saturday February 25th from 3:00-5:00pm.
Who: Open to current members and their friends, waiting list names and any young individuals who are curious to come and try out gymnastics in one of Ireland’s top training facility.
How much: The drop in session costs €5/child and lasts for 2 hours.
What: Open Gym includes games and gymnastics exercises lead by qualified instructors and opportunities to try out all of our gymnastics training equipment.

There will be full information available on the day detailing all of the scheduled classes that we run and how to join our waiting list.

Children must be aged 4 and upwards, everyone is welcome, though numbers may be capped if numbers exceed our safety policy!

On entering the gym all outdoor shoes must be removed and food and drink is not permitted in the training area. There is a kitchen area for recreational time and food and drinks must be kept within this area.

For all the 2-6 gymnasts who will be participating in the National Final this Sunday in Greystone, GOOD LUCK!!!! Here is the order of rotations –

• First session (Registration 9:00 sharp) –

Level – 2 U9 – Emma Slevin
Level – 4 U9 – Kate Molloy, Jane Heffernan & Daniela Goluba
Level – 4 U11 – Siofra Molloy

• Second session (Registration 12:30 sharp) -

Level 2 U13 – Natasha Johnson
Level 2 O13 – Nicola Lawless
Level 3 U9 – Aoife Walsh
Level 6 U13 – Caoimhe Greaney & Ciosa Marchant
Level 6 O13 – Rosalie Hynes & Hannah Pamplin

• Third Session (Registration 3:45 sharp) -

Level 5 U11 – Kim Li
Level 5 U13 – Helen McCarthy & Emer Flanagan
Level 6 U11 – Sarah Hynes

Please remember all gymnasts need to pay the club their entry fee of 20 euro before Sunday. Club tracksuits and leotards are compulsory uniform for participation of these events. We would like to wish all gymnasts the very best of luck!

The Gymnasts Are On Their Way Home!

Yesterday was the 2nd and last day of the Miss Alpha Factor Competition.  RGC was proudly represented by Ellen Hynes (Grade 6), Emma Greene (Grade 7), Roisin Curran, Alex-Marie McDonagh, Nicole Shaw, Aisling Fuller and Amy O’Neill (Grade 8).

Well done to Nicole, who received a Bronze award for her Grade 8 bar routine! Fantastic performances gymnasts!  Look forward to seeing you back at the gym!

Fantastic news coming from England –  Renmore Gymnasts did brilliantly in the first day of competition at the Miss Alpha Factor Championships UK.

Here you can see Jane Heffernan collecting her award for outstanding range and conditioning at the grade 13 as well as Sarah Hynes receiving her apparatus award for an outstanding floor routine!
