How do I enroll my child for classes?
You can set up an account and request an enrollment via the Customer Portal . This video takes you through setting up an account with RGC.
What class should I choose?
Our entry level programme is Active Start, we have 45 minute classes for children under 5 and under 8. For beginners over 8 Gym FUNdamentals is 60 minute sessions. Our coaches will asses gymnasts on entry and assesments continue throughout the year. If your gymnast has trained at another club please let us know.
How will I know if they are improving?
All our coaches are qualified to a very high standard. Gymnasts are assessed throughout the year. We also hold display days so you can see your gymnast in action.
Do you have classes for children under 3 years old?
Yes! We have parent and toddler sessions. Children should be able to toddle (or at least wobble!) and must be accompanied by an adult*.
*the ideal ratio is one adult to one child, if this is not possible for you please contact us to discuss options.
What should my child wear to class?
Children should come to class in neat and comfortable attire. Shorts, leggings or joggers are all suitable with a t-shirt or vest top. Please do not send your child in jeans, a skirt or dress. Jewellery, apart from stud earrings is not permitted. Long hair should be tied back. Gymnasts are welcome to wear a leotard but there is no requirement to do so.
Can I buy RGC clothing?
Yes! Please visit our Club Shop via the Customer Portal to see our range of Club Kit. RGC T-shirts, leotards, tracksuits, hoodies and more are available to purchase.
Are there classes for children with additional needs?
GymAble is a parent assisted class option we offer for members with physical, sensory or intellectual disabilities. Like all classes you can request to enroll for GymAble via our Customer Portal, please remember to give us some information about your child’s requirements when you do so.
