Gymnasts from RGC have represented both the club and Ireland at National level and in International competitions across the world. The big dream was fuelled with our first international in Suffolk, England in 2012.
In 2013 RGC gymnasts travelled to the Isle of Man for the Celtic Cup, competing again in 2014 when it was held in Scotland. 2014 also saw a trip to Daytona in the United States for the Tumbling World Championships.
In 2015 gymnasts travelled to both Wales and Belgium, 2016 saw them back in the Isle of Man and in 2017 RGC were represented in Belgium for the Flanders International Team
Challenge and in Hungry for the European Youth Olympics.
2018 proved busy with RGC represented at the Scalabis Cup in Portugal, Youth Olympic Games Qualification which were held in Azerbaijan, Junior European Championships in Scotland and the World Youth Olympic Games in Argentina.
2019 saw gymnasts from RGC travel to Minsk, to Poland and to make history at the World Championships in Stuttgart, Germany. We also attended a World Challenge Cup event in Turkey where RGC took its first international medal, a bronze on Uneven Bars.
2021 proved to be another record breaking year for RGC with gymnasts travelling to compete in the European Championships in Basel, Switzerland and to the World Championships in Japan.
RGC are proud to have been named both Innovative Club of the Year and Competitive Club of the Year on several occasions.
We are fortunate to have world class coaches on our team, both the National Tumbling Coach and National Performance Coach work here at RGC.
