Last week, RGC had to say “goodbye for now” to Keiran Crouch, a highly accomplished gymnast and outstanding coach from Canada, with whom we had the pleasure to work alongside over the last 5 months. On behalf of us all in RGC, the Team and Gymnasts, thank you again Keiran! You will be missed, at least until we see you in Galway again!
🌞🌞🌞 COMPETITION TIME 🌞🌞🌞
To be in for a chance to win a FREE space in our recreational gymnastics summer camp, we challenge you to capture on a photograph you or your child (or both) doing any kind of gymnastics. And because we have been so lucky to have such a beautiful and warm summer, the photograph has to be taken outside!!! We will be looking for the most creative and fun pose on a cool outdoors background and will announce the winner on Sunday 8th July.
👉 To take part in the competition, post your photograph to your own Facebook wall and
1. Write #RGCSummerCampFacebookCompetition
2. Tag us – Renmore Gymnastics Club (type @ followed by Renmore Gymnastics Club and when our club’s name pops up just click on it). It will look like this 👉 Renmore Gymnastics Club
3. Describe how you came about taking your cool photo!!!
We will be sharing and re-posting your post and ‘mentions’ of us on our own club’s Facebook Page.
Camp winners may be current members as well as nonmembers between 5 and 13 years of age but not younger. The photo has to be of the child who if you win will take part in the camp but you can have any other family member in the photo also. Please avoid sharing children’s full names, instead please check that you have enabled for anyone to message you via Facebook. Once we pick a winner, we will visit your profile and either send you a message or leave a note on your Facebook page. We will also post the winner’s name on our Facebook page so please check it on next Tuesday eve!!! 👍👍👍
You may select your images in various sizes for print. Markus will process all print orders once the gallery has expired and deliver all orders to RGC for collection.
The gallery will expire on 2nd July 2018.
Once again, big tanks to all our members, we hope both our gymnasts and parents enjoyed the competition on Sunday and had fun. We want to say a huge thanks to all who donated prizes and baked goods for our stands, to all the parents who volunteered on the day from the door, the stands, minding gymnasts, moving equipment and loading and unloading the trucks. To those parents who helped out on Saturday (and Sunday) evening also with the move, the clean up of the gym and set up in Kingfisher we are very grateful. To the Rowers who were a great help with the equipment move, to Paul Fitzgerald for the use of his truck, to Liam Slevim for organizing the bricks, to Nigel Moss for sponsoring our printing, to the other dads who let us use their vans, to Jacinta and Supermacs for the vouchers, to name but a few. To our wonderful coaches and staff in RGC for all the work both in advance preparing our Fab gymnasts to all the work you put in over the weekend. To Marcus for taking fab photos and the staff in the Kingfisher for helping us out over the weekend. To the Civil Defence team – Louie, Lily, Daragh and Lauren thanks as always you put in a long day. To those we have not named we are very grateful. Once again thanks to everyone for their support without it we could not have run the event.
We are calling on all members and non members available this Sunday 3rd June, we are in the final stages of preparing for our Annual Club Competition and do not currently have enough bodies to run this event. We would be grateful for any help you may be able to offer. If you would like to help, please email us on email@example.com and let us know that you are available and when.
