Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd saw the last event of the season with the Women’s artistic levels 2-7 Teams and Apparatus National Finals. 27 Renmore Gymnasts qualified from Regional heats to represent their Club and the West of Ireland at the National Finals. Due to date clashes with Communions etc 21 gymnasts proceeded forward for the finals and I think we can confidently say that all gymnasts competed fantastically and really helped to finish the season with a bang!
It was a long weekend with 3 Competitions running over 2 days, despite this all coaches and gymnasts present had a skip in their step to see off the last comp with good energy and outstanding performances. Due to the large number of gymnasts that competed in this event it’s not possible to comment on all individual performances, but it should be noted that out of an impressive haul of 38 medals, 13 of the Renmore gymnasts returned home with Gold medals and National Champions in their age/category. Special congratulations to the following gymnasts who took individual golds in the Apparatus championships –
