FANTASTIC SEASON END AT NATIONALS FOR RENMORE GYMNASTICS WINNING 100 NATIONAL MEDALS!!!
Over May 18th and 19th a total of eighty-five Renmore gymnasts traveled to Limerick University to participate in a full weekend of competitions across both women’s and men’s artistic gymnastics and Tumbling National Finals. The results from this Multi-discipline National event were impressive to say the least with Galwegian gymnasts returning home with a total of one hundred medals from podium placings. Including forty-one new 2013 National champions, thirty-three silver medal placings and twenty-six bronze medal placings across both individual apparatus, team results, MAG all around and Tumbling results. The West region’s Renmore gymnasts were awarded medals in every WAG category from levels 2-10 & FIG. Finally in addition to the medal spots the 2013 National Tumbling Cup was won by Renmore’s Sarah Hynes who was crowned the 2013 women’s Tumbling champion.
Renmore Gymnastics’ competitive programme is one which all it’s coaches are very passionate and proud of. The gymnasts work extremely hard day in day out and results like these really help to reward the members and maintain their focus, determination and work ethic which is truly the key to all successful results.
Women’s Artistic (WAG) results: 
This is the first year that gymnasts competing in Women’s artistic gymnastics have won medals and National titles from all Level’s 2-10 inclusive. Competing and powering their way as National champions on Vault include: Level 2 – Isobel Haugh, Level 3 – Kate Kidd, Level 4 – Grace Haugh & Nicola Lawless and Level 8 – Aisling Fuller. Swinging their way to victory include our new National Bar champions: Level 7 – Sarah Hynes & Jane Heffernan, Level 9 – Nicole Shaw and Level 10 – Erin Shimizu. In addition to the Vault and Bar results confidently competing Beam with grace and elegance securing further National titles include: Level 4 Anna Kidd, Level 7 – Daniela Goluba, Sarah Hynes, Rosalie Hynes, Level 8 – Emer Shimizu, Level 9 – Nicole Shaw and Level 10 – Erin Shimizu. And finally, dancing beautifully to be crowned National Floor champions include: Level 4 – Miriam Fuller, Level 7 – Sarah Hynes and Level 10 – Erin Shimizu. In total seventy-six medals were won by the WAG gymnasts, fantastic result girls! Full WAG results are as followed:

MEN’S ARTISTIC GYMNASTICS (MAG) RESULTS:
Renmore gymnastics sent 21 young MAG gymnasts to compete at the National Championships from levels 2-5, FIG minors and the New Intermediate club grade 1. The entire boys squad showed such fantastic progress and is growing from strength to strength! The boys are now returning from competitions consistently bringing back medals and showing that the Renmore Boy’s competition squad holds much talent and promise for the future. Well done to all!!!
