On the 1st and 2nd of December we had some of our youngest competitive members take part in the level 2 competition. The girls competed across three sub levels 2A, 2B and 2C. In these early years every competition experience is very valuable as the girls learn the skills of being a good competitor. They must learn to stay focused and remain cool and calm under pressure, and these young competitors are off to a great start. They showed confidence as they competed their compulsory routines that they have worked hard on over the last couple of months. Girls keep up the great work! Below are the levels these girls took part in along with some results.
Eadaoin M. -Bronze bars and beam
Aoife D.- Gold Beam
Ava C. – Silver Floor and Vault
Daisy P. – Gold Vault Bronze Bars
Niamh O. -Bronze Vault
Sarah D. – Silver Vault
We also had some of our WAG Intermediate girls competing. For most of these girls it is their second time competing in a national event. These girls have made some big improvements over the last couple of months.
Amy Rose M.
Isabel C. – Bronze Vault.
Finally, we had our Intermediate Team which included Kate, Siofra, Ingrid, Eimear. With little to no mistakes, the team had a great competition. These girls have had a lot of competition experience and it shows. They took home the Gold medal. Well done girls.
