At our 2nd camp this summer groups performed dances and mixed discipline routines. The mixed routines contained skills from the rhythmic and acrobatic disciplines taught at RGC. We are very proud of all gymnasts who each earned a bonus point for their house teams by participating in these challenges. Enjoy!
A fantastic four days was had during the Gymnastics Ireland WAG Summer camp, hosted by Renmore Gymnastics Club. Over 50 very hard working gymnasts from all over Ireland trained together for four action packed days alongside Olympic visitors from Liverpool Gymnastics Club, including Gymnasts Rebecca Tunney and Hannah Whelan with coach Claire Duffy and teammates Charlie Fellows and Olivia. For four days the gymnasts also had the great fortune of working daily with choreographer Daniela Nanova.
Great experience for all involved, a fantastic summer camp Gymnastics Ireland! Well done RGC gymnasts for your hard work! Here are some pictures from the last day of training!
Our 2nd camp this summer kicked off with a Princesses and Pirates theme. Gymnasts completed challenges in teams including building a monster octopus and a pirate ship, team quizzes and races. Gymnasts worked hard to earn stamps for hard work and compete for the star gymnast prize. Great fun was had by all and we hope to see everyone again soon!
August summer camps are filling up fast – only 10 full day spots for both camps #3 and #4!
