The 6th Allianz Annual Resolution Run took place last Friday – New Year’s Day. The race had its largest entry to date with 428 registrations. There was a great mix of athletes from national clubs and the many families who made the run. On the plus side, the weather was much improved from last year making it all more cheerful!
There was great support from RGC and Monivea RFC parents who volunteered to marshal at over 25 junctions along the route.
Refreshments for all those taking part were organised and served by some very willing and helpful RGC mums – Martha Molloy, Carmel Mahon, Sylvia McDonagh, Breda Smyth, Anne-Celine Donohoeand and Carol Hynes.
