Wishing everyone a very happy Christmas and all the best for 2013 from all of us here at Renmore Gymnastics Club
We’re open again from January 7th – see you then!

Thanks to all the families who made an effort to support the club through this fundraising event. We understand that many families are feeling the pinch of the recession, and we greatly appreciate your contribution.
Thanks to everyone who supported the club by purchasing a ticket.
Thanks, finally, to those who helped organise this fundraising event, especially to Sylvia McDonagh and Carol Hynes.
The raffle made a net profit of about €12,500 which will go towards the pits.
There is still time to enter the draw for the one of a kind RGC merchandise! The draw will run at the end of January and tickets can be bought directly from the gym and cost just €2.
You can buy tickets of the clothing of your choice… either the RGC girl’s leotard (a custom design similar to the RGC national team leotard), an original one of a kind girl’s tracksuit and a very smart boy’s tracksuit.
Good Luck!
Allianz Resolution Run!
“Run Galway’s Shop Street on New Year’s Day”
The run is a fundraiser for Renmore Gymnastics Club and Monivea Rugby Club. A donation from the profits will be made to the Galway Hospice.
Entry fee is €20 with all registered entrants receiving a souvenir technical tee shirt. Race start is at 1:00pm with registration available from 11:00am on the day at The Townhouse Bar, beside the Spanish Arch, or register now at Run Ireland http://www.runireland.com/events/resolution-run.
If you don’t want to run but want to help out… We are recruiting 30 volunteers to either steward or help with registration on the day. This will take from half an hour to two hours depending on what job you’re doing. Everyone welcome aged 15 and up! Volunteers please sign up by sending us an email renmoregymnastics@gmail.com or signing up on the sign up sheet in the gym.
Check out their website for photos of last year’s run.
On Saturday 1st December 11 RGC gymnasts competed at the National Final in Greystones co Wicklow. It was an outstanding competition and for many it was their first, and amongst all the nerves and the excitement the gymnasts competed fantastically.
December 3rd – National Intermediate Club Teams
RGC compete in a grueling battle against 12 other teams for the TOUGHEST title of the year. An event we have come so close to smelling victory at many times before but have never quite managed to achieve. Yesterday we returned as National Champions and after what can only be described as many years of sheer hard work, massive dedication and total belief… A thoroughly deserved and beautifully achieved result.
Well done the RGC Intermediate Team!
All the hard work paid off – placing first in the country!
Wishing the RGC intermediate team girls the best of luck this Sunday at Janz Gym!!!
