The raffle made a net profit of about €12,500 which will go towards the pits.

You can buy tickets of the clothing of your choice… either the RGC girl’s leotard (a custom design similar to the RGC national team leotard), an original one of a kind girl’s tracksuit and a very smart boy’s tracksuit.

Allianz Resolution Run!

“Run Galway’s Shop Street on New Year’s Day”

The run is a fundraiser for Renmore Gymnastics Club and Monivea Rugby Club.  A donation from the profits will be made to the Galway Hospice.

Entry fee is €20 with all registered entrants receiving a souvenir technical tee shirt. Race start is at 1:00pm with registration available from 11:00am on the day at The Townhouse Bar, beside the Spanish Arch, or register now at Run Ireland http://www.runireland.com/events/resolution-run.

If you don’t want to run but want to help out… We are recruiting 30 volunteers to either steward or help with registration on the day. This will take from half an hour to two hours depending on what job you’re doing. Everyone welcome aged 15 and up! Volunteers please sign up by sending us an email renmoregymnastics@gmail.com or signing up on the sign up sheet in the gym.

Well Done Level One Gymnasts!!

On Saturday 1st December 11 RGC gymnasts competed at the National Final in Greystones co Wicklow. It was an outstanding competition and for many it was their first, and amongst all the nerves and the excitement the gymnasts competed fantastically.

The standard was exceptionally high this year and the gymnasts all performed with great focus after much practise! We are exceptionally proud of all who took part so want to congratulate them on this outstanding achievement. And a special congratulations to those that graced the podiums and returned as national team medal winners!

Congratulations gymnasts! Gold at intermediate teams!

December 3rd – National Intermediate Club Teams

RGC compete in a grueling battle against 12 other teams for the TOUGHEST title of the year. An event we have come so close to smelling victory at many times before but have never quite managed to achieve. Yesterday we returned as National Champions and after what can only be described as many years of sheer hard work, massive dedication and total belief… A thoroughly deserved and beautifully achieved result.

Well done the RGC Intermediate Team!

All the hard work paid off – placing first in the country!

Level 1 National Finals Tomorrow!

Hi Everyone,

There is a 3pm registration for the following groups – 1A UND9 + 1B UND 11 + 1C UND 9. This competition is due to end by 5pm.
There is also a 5:30pm registration for these groups – 1B OV11 + 1C UND11 + 1C OV11. This part of the competition is due to end at 8pm.
Please can all gymnasts wear the blue t-shirt they received during summer camp, along with black leggings or pants. They will be given regional leotards during the course of next week for the competition so please ensure the leotards from last weekend are returned before hand.
National Competition Entry is 20€ and needs to be paid be in advance. This includes leotard rental.
If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask.
We have been asked by the host club (Sugarloaf) to provide a volunteer to help at the door. Any volunteers?

Well done to the 44 Renmore Gymnastics that traveled all the way to County Mayo to compete at the Level 1 Regional qualifying competition at Nadia Gymnastics Club in Ballina. For many young gymnasts this was their first ever event and we would like to congratulate our whole team that participated on such good results and great routines. The competition in the West region for entry into National Finals is always very high so all gymnasts should be very proud that they are part of such a strong Region, they did a great competition and we are very proud of you all!
