Our Rhythmic gymnasts had an exciting weekend at the University of Limerick Sports Arena.
It was the first competition of the year for these lovely ladies and despite the tough competition level, our gymnasts performed very well!
Most of the girls improved their scores from the last competition proving they are just getting better and better. We can’t wait to see their routines next time!
A big congratulations to Emma Kelly who participated in her first rhythmic competition and got on very well. And another big congratulations to Aoibhin McDonnell (Novice 2 Bronze Medal) and Rose Maeve Gaughan (Novice 1 Junior Silver Medal). Excellent work ladies!
Many thanks to our wonderful rhythmic coaches who are so dedicated to our gymnasts and the programme. Anastasia, Ilaria and Ceire – Thanks again for all your hard work!

Our Rhythmic girls and their coach, Anastasia, put together a beautiful show for the Russian school in Galway. All were thrilled with their performance. What a lovely Christmas treat!
“T’was that time of the year when the gymnasts all twirled away
Splits, backbends and walkovers were a big part part of the play
The Christmas tree shown brightening up the red floor
And the crowd watching the performance all cheered for more!”
At Renmore Gymnastics, Christmas is not complete until we have our Christmas tree up and our Rhythmic show on. It was a lovely night lead by Anastasia, our fantastic Rhythmic Head Coach, and supported by our also very talented Rhythmic coaches, Céire, Paula and Ilaria who put together the RGC Christmas Rhythmic Show. Our Rhythmic girls performed with wonderful grace and enthusiasm. The audience were in for a night of delight!
The club would like to say thank you for all the hard work from the coaches and gymnasts preparing and performing in such a beautiful show. And also a big thanks to all the parents who helped us setting up the stage. You all certainly made this time of the year even more special.
You can see some of the pictures below and we hope to have some videos available in our YouTube channel soon.
Have a Happy Christmas Everyone!!!

We would like to welcome back our super star Rhythmic Coach, Anastasia Nirkova! She has been on her maternity leave enjoying her brand-new little bundle of joy, baby Christopher, and we have missed her dearly for the last 6 months! We are very excited to welcome her back. Anastasia is a marvelous coach and creates an air of beauty and grace in the room with her beautiful lines, knowledge and style.
Sunday 22nd February 17 members of the Renmore Gymnastics Rhythmic squad travelled to Limerick to compete in the Novice Competition. With a very strong attendance from the club the girls performed beautifully and with great confidence and composure. They showed impressive focus both back stage in the warm up area and on the competition floor itself and it was wonderful to witness the progress these gymnasts have made! Such good performances led to some fantastic results with fierce competition across some categories RGC showed that they are progressing well and working very hard in training. With such a promising young squad and many more of our higher level gymnasts who were not competing this weekend the future of this discipline certainly looks exciting! Well done to all the gymnasts we are very proud of you all, many thanks to the Rhythmic coaching team for preparing this squad you’re all doing a great job!
